Try Something New: Washi Tape It!

Lovely Web Links Featuring Vintage Celebrity Homes
Welcome to Try Something New! The premise is simple - every Friday, I'll suggest a new action you can take over the weekend. Some will be just for fun, and some will challenge you to stretch beyond your comfort zone. But either way, they'll be little, actionable steps to flex and develop your creative muscles.

This week: why not washi tape something? I know, I know - I'm late to the washi tape game. But I just got some from The Plaid Barn, and I'm kind of in love with it. (If you order a print from my Etsy shop in the near future, you can bet it'll have a little washi tape accenting it on the back!). Washi tape is inexpensive and easy to use, and you can easily change it up when you get sick of a particular pattern or color.

Try creating a faux picture frame (as shown above), decorating a blank notebook, accenting a frameadorning your keyboard, or just using it in lieu of plan transparent tape to make everyday tasks more awesome.

In fact, I think we should all be doing our part to make everyday tasks more awesome, don't you?

Have a wonderful weekend, washi tape-ers!
